MTA/NJ elects officers for 2009-2010
MANASQUAN, N.J. – The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey elected its 2009-2010 officers and directors and also announced its Sponsor of the Year awards at a recent awards ceremony, MTA/NJ reported in a release yesterday,
Rick Traber of Pier 47 Marina in Wildwood, N.J., will serve as president of the MTA/NJ, while Kersten Roehsler of Viking Terminal Marina in Sayreville, N.J., will serve as first vice president and Fred Brueggemann of Key Harbor Marina & Yacht Sales in Waretown, N.J., will serve as second vice president.
John Curtis of The Ship Chandlers in Point Pleasant, N.J., remains the treasurer, and
Raymond Bogan of Sinn, Fitzsimmons, Cantoli, Bogan & West in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., will continue as secretary.
The directors that were elected and are serving staggered terms are Brian Fischer of MESCO in Thorofare, N.J., and Dave DiPaolo of Shore Point Marina & Yacht Sales in Bayville, N.J.

The MTA/NJ once again held its Sponsor of the Year Awards at the annual dinner. The
MTA/NJ established the award to show its appreciation and to recognize the leading sponsors of its events.
The first award, for the third runner up, went to Boat Safe Insurance Agency located in Brick, N.J. The second award went to Point Bay Fuel located in Toms River, N.J. The Top Sponsor of the Year award, for the fourth year in a row, went to John B Wright Insurance with offices in Manasquan, Waretown and Cape May, N.J.
