Statement Marine hires racer Chip Fendt
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Chip Fendt will join Statement Marine in an ongoing effort to keep up the momentum gained during its launch at the Miami International Boat Show, the company reported this week.
Fendt, who is also a World Champion offshore racer, has over 30 years of experience representing boat manufacturers such as Talon, Donzi, Hustler and Outerlimits. According to company spokesman Gene Weeks, Fendt will be “dedicated to sales and customer satisfaction.” Weeks went on to say, “We want the purchase experience to be perfect from start to finish. Chip’s industry knowledge and dedication to customer service is the perfect fit for our philosophy of total team effort.”
Statement plans to limit manufacturing to a half-dozen boats per year, “which allows for the attention to detail necessary to achieve the high-end finished product,” said Weeks.
