Stabicraft Marine names new North American sales manager
INVERCARGILL, New Zealand – Stabicraft Marine has named Marty Smith North American sales manager to serve the U.S. and Canadian markets, it reported in a statement yesterday.
Smith brings 25 years of experience in purchasing, design, quality control, boat show management and sales. According to Stabicraft, he will expand the company’s marine dealer network; foster the company’s relationship with existing dealers; and manage U.S. and Canadian boat shows and events. Smith will also head and operate the soon-to-be announced U.S. headquarters, according to the boat builder.
“Our goal is to double the size of our business overall in the next three to four years, which implies significant growth in the North American market,” explained Paul Adams, managing director at Stabicraft Marine. “Marty’s on-the-ground manufacturing and sales experience combined with his strong industry relationships will help us drive sales and support expansion in the U.S. and Canada.”
“This new position is a perfect fit for me because I’m passionate about Stabicraft’s airtight compartment aluminum hull design,” said Smith. “Customers can go out on the water and know that despite rough conditions, they will come back safely and comfortably.
