MGIG names account and insurance specialist
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Mariners General Insurance Group has named Phil Quartararo Commercial Accounts & Vessel Insurance Specialist for the company, MGIG reported in a release.
Quartararo will be based out of the company’s Seattle office and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial marine manufacturers, agencies and brokers.
“We are thrilled to have Phil join our team,” said Craig Chamberlain, president and CEO of Mariners General Insurance Group. “His extensive experience in the marine industry working with companies of all sizes will no doubt help us establish relationships with many of the major commercial marine facilities. We have implemented a plan to use his marine industry knowledge, and experience to work for current and future clients.”
Prior to joining Mariners General Insurance Group, Quartararo worked for PYI Inc. as National Product Manager for Jefa Products and R & D Drivetrains.
