AER names new manager

SEABROOK, Texas – AER Supply Ltd. announced the appointment of William (Bill) Balsley as the new manager of engine applications and dealer development this week, the company reported in a release this week.

Balsley will be responsible for developing a nationwide dealer network and working with dealers and OEMs on engine installations. He will also be heading the Premier Dealers program, which assigns dealers by region to support specific AER product lines. These dealers will be trained in specific products and will maintain an inventory of repair parts to support the company’s product offerings with dealers.

“We’re pleased to welcome Bill to the AER team,” said Rudolf Mes, general manager of AER Supply. “His vast product development, sales and marketing experience in the pleasure boating and recreational marine industries will be a great asset to our company.”

Prior to joining AER Supply, Balsley served as director of sales and marketing at Pleasurecraft/Crusader Engines; market development and regional sales manager at Carver Boat Corporation; national sales and marketing administrator at Thermo Electron Crusader Engines; materials manager for Johnson Controls, Inc.; account executive for Central Transport Company; and purchasing manager/administrative assistant at Melvin Corporation/Automatic Hydraulic Devices.
