ACR Electronics gets new senior executive
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Cobham’s Mission Systems Division recently announced that Joseph A. Mentz will replace Paul M. Frank as the senior executive at its ACR Electronics business unit. ACR Electronics, Inc., designs and manufactures a complete line of safety and survival products.
“Joe Mentz brings broad experience and balance to a strong and talented management team. Joe is a dynamic, results-oriented professional who will use his 25-plus years experience to guide ACR into its next half century of growth,” said Dean Cantrill, Cobham Mission Systems’ Vice President of Operations, in a statement.
According to the company, Mentz has worked as a senior consultant with Simpler Consulting, Inc., providing Lean transformation executive consulting to clients. Before that, he held executive management positions with Troxler Electronics Laboratories and Columbus Machining.
Cobham’s Mission Systems initiated an extensive executive search after long time ACR President, Paul Frank, announced his retirement earlier this year.
