Regulator’s customer service manager retires

EDENTON, N.C. – Cheryl Williams, manager of customer service for Regulator Marine, has announced her retirement after 18 years with the company and Al Partin has been appointed to succeed her, the company reported yesterday.

Williams was in charge of Regulator’s customer service for the last four years and was instrumental in Regulator becoming the first boating manufacturer to enjoy a 100 percent dealer certified network.

“Cheryl was one of the early pioneers in influencing Regulator’s culture,” said Joan Maxwell, Regulator’s president. “Not only will Regulator be losing a valued professional but I will also miss the daily positive attitude and smile of a friend.”

Partin will take over the customer service effort after six years of managing the assembly department at Regulator. Before coming to Regulator, he held various management positions in the textile and boating industries.

“Al has a passion for boating and will bring over 20 years of technical and practical boating knowledge to his new customer service role,” Maxwell said. “His assembly experience and knowledge of our boat’s systems will be of instant value to our dealer’s service departments and to owners of Regulators.”
