Dutton-Lainson elects new president
HASTINGS, Neb. – The Dutton-Lainson Company’s Board of Directors recently elected William Lainson Hermes as president of the firm, the company reported in a statement today.
Hermes joined the company in 1996, and has held numerous positions in both sales and production management areas, according to Dutton-Lainson. He was elected vice president and plant manager in 2003 and will continue as the manager of the Manufacturing Division, the company reported.
William Hermes represents the fourth generation of the Lainson family in the corporation. Charles Hermes, who has served as president of the company since 1974, was elected by the Board of Directors to serve as CEO.
The Dutton-Lainson Company said it manufactures over 200 marine, hardware, automotive, agricultural, and industrial products, including its StrongArm electric winches; D-L hand winches, couplers, tongue jacks, and trailer accessories; Golden Rod oilers, fuel tank filters, fence stretcher splicers, grease guns, and a line of towing products.
