Smoker Craft appoints four VPs, customer service manager

NEW PARIS, Ind. — Smoker Craft, Inc. has announced the appointment of four vice presidents and a customer service manager under the consolidation plan of Smoker Craft and Starcraft companies.

Peter Barrett has been named vice president of corporate marketing. A fourth-generation member of the family-owned business, Barrett has been with the organization since 1995 working as East Coast and Canada account manager for Smoker Craft-Sylvan, before holding the position of vice president of Starcraft sales/marketing.

Josh Drudge has been named vice president of manufacturing and will oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations. Drudge has worked in the marine industry for 15 years, 10 of which have been with Starcraft Marine.

Donn Huber, a 34-year veteran of Smoker Craft, has been named vice president of product development. Huber as held the positions of transportation manager and Sylvan sales manager before taking the reigns of product development.

Another fourth-generation member of the family business, Phil Smoker has been named vice president of corporate sales. He has spent the past five years in the Smoker Craft Sales organization, and his new responsibilities will focus on the development of sales staff and dealer network for all brands.

Darrell Troyer, a 22-year veteran of Smoker Craft, has been named customer service manager. He has worked in inside sales, quality control, R&D and warranty before stepping into his current role.
