Silverton Marine makes two executive appointments
MILLVILLE, N.J. – Southern New Jersey boat builder Silverton Marine recently made two new management appointments, the company reported in a recent statement.
Brett Marshall, who was named director of sales and marketing in February, is Silverton’s new vice president, sales & marketing. Sean Berrie, who has been director of design and engineering since 2002, is now vice president, design & engineering. Each executive has also been made an officer of the company.
Marshall’s marine industry career spans 20 years with positions in the sales and marketing departments at Ocean Yachts, Silverton Marine Corp. and Ovation Yachts, according to Silverton. Marshall directs the sales activities of 50 Silverton dealers located around the globe, and he manages the sale of Ovation Yachts through select dealer outlets worldwide.
Berrie became a junior designer for Silverton at its Millville, N.J., plant in 1987. He has served as chief designer since 1992, and he heads a department of R&D technicians, designers and engineers inside Silverton’s manufacturing plant.
