Former Fairline Boats executive joins dealership

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fairline Florida and Fairline Chesapeake has appointed Jim Renfrow as vice president of sales, the dealerships said in a statement today.

Renfrow brings extensive experience and knowledge of the boat sales environment, the recreational boating industry and particularly the Fairline brand, to the business. He has previously worked directly for Fairline Boats for five years.

“While I have enjoyed working with other companies over the years, selling a global brand such as Fairline has always been rewarding,” Renfrow said. “The brand has customer loyalty, a reputation for excellence of design and build and a truly global presence in 36 countries. Such attributes are advantageous in tough trading conditions as buyers are keen to minimize the risk of depreciation when purchasing a high value asset such as a luxury motor yacht.”

Fairline Florida is based at the Lauderdale Marine Center and, with its sister dealership Fairline Chesapeake, employs 19 people across its sales, brokerage and service business.
