Channel Blade expands executive team

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Channel Blade, a provider of online marketing, lead management and sales education solutions, has appointed Richard M. Jamin as vice president of sales and marketing, it reported in a statement yesterday.

Jamin joins Channel Blade’s executive team, which includes Co-founder and Managing Partner Chuck Lewis, Chief Executive Officer Jon Lintvet and recently named Vice President of Operations Tom Heron.

“Welcoming Richard to Channel Blade is the continuation of an ongoing effort to build an exceptional pool of talent in support of our clients’ growth,” said Lewis. “Richard will be an invaluable addition to our executive team as we strive to consistently improve business processes and customer satisfaction.”

Jamin has over 20 years of leadership experience across sales, marketing, business and product development. In his new position, he will oversee U.S. and international sales and marketing efforts. He is also expected to play a pivotal role in shaping Channel Blade’s overall strategic direction, according to the company.

“Richard’s diversified experience and strong leadership skills will complement our talented executive team and further drive business growth and customer engagement,” said Lintvet.

In addition to his responsibilities, Jamin will co-sponsor Channel Blade’s first Client Advisory Council composed of OEM and dealer client members, the company reported. Channel Blade expects to rely on members’ experience and expertise to both improve upon existing solutions and develop new product to drive growth.

Jamin spent most of his career at Trader Publishing Company where he held several positions of increasing responsibility at the company’s divisions. He served as executive vice president and general manager at the Employment Guide, and president of Auto Trader Publishing, according to the company.

Jamin attended St. Petersburg College with a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism. He also has extensive studies in Executive Leadership from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business Program for Executives; Financial and Marketing Management Business Development; and Change Leadership through Harvard Business School, Channel Blade reported.

Jamin is an active member of the Economics Club of Hampton Roads and sits on the advisory board of Heritage Bank. In addition, Jamin serves as an executive board member for the United Way of Hampton Roads. He resides in Virginia Beach, Va., with his wife Sherry and their three sons, Daniel, David and Drew.
