Maxi-Seal hires general manager
GRANDVIEW, Mo. – Tim Barnett has joined Maxi-Seal Harness Systems, Inc., as general manager, the company said in a release Wednesday.
The move is designed to strengthen the leadership team at Maxi-Seal – a member of the Peterson corporate family – as it expands the company’s share of the custom wiring harness market, while continuing to provide sealed harness systems for Peterson Manufacturing’s vehicle lighting solutions.
Barnett will direct all Maxi-Seal operations, with department heads from engineering, production, quality assurance and sales reporting to him.
“Maxi-Seal’s primary role is to support Peterson Manufacturing in providing our customers with a single-sourced lighting and harness system,” Barnett said. “That means being the best harness supplier we can be for Peterson Manufacturing. But we have extraordinary abilities here to design and build harness systems for a world of applications.”
Barnett comes to Maxi-Seal from his role as Vice President/General Manager at J&J Logistics, a freight transportation services company in Overland Park, KS.
In a related move, Maxi-Seal’s Terry Forsythe has accepted the position of Sales Engineer reporting to Barnett. In this role, Forsythe initially will manage customer relationships in the areas of field service and technical support.
