Navico appoints van Limburgh as manager

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – Marine electronics manufacturer Navico has named Bob van Limburgh as customer care site manager, the company said in a press release this week. Based at its Lynnwood support facility, van Limburgh will be responsible for all Customer Care Center operations including product support, technical repair services and parts inventory management.

“Bob’s experience in all facets of customer care for the Simrad and B&G product lines is invaluable to Navico,” said Brian D. Staton, vice president of dealer, distributor and installer accounts. “We are confident that Navico owners will benefit from the high-quality, timely support they will receive under his outstanding direction and leadership.”

van Limburgh joined Simrad, Inc. in 1991 as a manufacturing test technician and most recently held the position of senior technician during his 18-year tenure with the company. Prior to joining Simrad, Inc., he spent eight years with Raytheon Marine Company as a service technician. van Limburgh is a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran, retiring as a chief electronics technician.
