Nautic Global Group hires new marketing execs
ELKHART, Ind. – Steve Tadd has been named director of marketing for the Nautic Global Group (NGG), leading the marketing teams for both Rinker Boats and Godfrey Marine, the company reported in a recent statement.
Prior to joining Nautic Global Group, Tadd worked for the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) where he served the industry for eight years, first as director of Discover Boating and most recently as the director of Grow Boating.
“Steve has been involved in NMMA’s efforts to grow boating since they began in the late 1990’s. He has been a key player who has been very effective in building and maintaining industry support for the Grow Boating Initiative,” said NMMA President Thom Dammrich. “Given his passion for and understanding of boating, I know Steve will be a strong contributor to the boating industry throughout his career.”
Tadd holds a BS degree in Marketing from the University of Florida and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business.

In related news, Shelly Noland has joined the Nautic Global Group (NGG) sales and marketing team as director of Global Business Development, managing the international sales and operations for both Rinker and Godfrey Marine, which includes all direct and agency sales efforts.
“As Nautic Global Group continues to expand our business for all brands globally, Noland’s experience and knowledge of the International marine market will be a great asset to the team” stated Gasaway.
Prior to joining NGG, Shelly held responsibilities at Genmar Holdings within its international organization and oversaw operations, coordination, and managed territories along with team members. She holds a degree from Concorida College, Moorhead; with a B.A. in International Business.
