Callbutton names partner

SEATTLE – Callbutton LLC, a communications conduit for more than 3,000 brokers, dealers and boat builders, has appointed Robert Kamp as partner, the company said in a press release yesterday. Kamp will be responsible for business development. He served as vice president of marketing and sales for Callbutton from 2001-2005.

“Robb’s ability to provide technical solutions to marketing problems is a strategic advantage for Callbutton,” said Michael Markette, managing partner. “This, together with his long record of success with channel management, will assist Callbutton’s client strategy and bring greater value to our resellers.”

Prior to rejoining Callbutton, Kamp was vice president of corporate development for Kurve Technology, a medical device start-up where he raised capital, handled technology out-licensing and developed corporate strategy. Before joining Kurve in 2005, he founded RWK Technologies, an international management consulting firm, where he provided launch strategies for Asian technology companies and international expansion opportunities for U.S. software firms. Kamp also brings business development experience from Infospace and AEI Music Network, both based in Seattle.
