Yamaha makes promotions
KENNESAW, Ga. – Yamaha Marine Group has made several appointments within its marine service and OEM sales divisions, the company said in a press release Monday. Effective immediately, Bob Popiel will head the marine service division, while Daniel Osborne and Justin Rupar are each promoted to OEM regional sales manager positions.
“Bob, Daniel and Justin keep a commitment to Yamaha’s customers at the center of their work, and their dedication has helped to improve our business,” said Phil Dyskow, Yamaha Marine Group president.
Bob Popiel joined Yamaha just over two years ago and has overseen the Yamaha Marine Group customer service team as well as service training, two functions within the service division. During his tenure, Popiel has increased the efficiency and reach of the functions.
Daniel Osborn has been with Yamaha for more than seven years, serving most recently as the assistant regional manager in charge of sales and marketing for Midwest and West Coast boat builder accounts. He has played a key role in OEM sales through his direct involvement with Yamaha’s key freshwater accounts.
Justin Rupar has been with Yamaha for more than seven years, having spent two years with the Motorsports Group where he served as a district manager in Louisiana, and nearly five years with the Marine Group as a district marketing manager.
