Former Yacht Council exec joins yacht brokerage

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Barb Tierney has agreed to take the helm of yacht brokerage company Northrop and Johnson Group as executive director/business manager, Northrop and Johnson said in a press release yesterday.

Tierney worked as a broker with Bradford Yacht Sales for a number of years. She also served as president of Florida Yacht Brokers Association and was the first Yacht Brokers Association of America non-member to receive the organization’s Presidents Award for Service to the Industry. Tierney was also a founding member of the International Yacht Council and most recently served a vice president of yachtcouncil.org.
