Marinco names sales manager
NAPA, Calif. – The Marinco Electrical Group has named Reese Bischoof national OEM sales manager for its recreational brands, which include AFI, Ancor, BEP Marine, Guest, Marino and Nicro, the company said in a press release today.
Bischoff has more than 20 years of experience in marine electrical sales and marketing. In his new role, he will direct OEM sales efforts in support of MEG’s growth and market leadership strategy. Bischoff will work closely with marine and RV OEM engineering, design and materials teams.
In 2002, Bischoff founded Bischoff Marine Electric, Inc., the exclusive North American distributor for BEP Marine Ltd., a New Zealand-based manufacturer of electrical products for the marine market, which later became BEP Marine, Inc. In 2005, the Actuant Corporation acquired BEP Marine, Ltd., which was folded into the Marinco Electrical Group and Bischoff continued on as national sales manager for the BEP Marine brand.
Prior to founding Bischoff Marine Electric, Bischoff’s career at automotive lighting manufacturer Hella, Inc. spanned 19 years, including the last 14 as national sales manager of its marine and recreational vehicle division.
