Key Recreation Lending hires manufacturer manager
CLEVELAND – Key Recreation Lending, a KeyBank NA division, has added Bill Thompson to its team as national manufacturer manager, the company said in a press release yesterday. He reports to Kevin von Busch, national retail sales manager for Key Recreation Lending.
Thompson manages a national sales team that works with manufacturers to develop and implement customized commercial and retail programs.
“Bill’s experience in the recreational finance industry and with Key made him the ideal candidate for this position,” von Busch said. “He has a proven track record of building and leading successful teams that exceed client expectations.”
Thompson has more than 16 years of experience in the marine and banking industry. Most recently he was director of financial services at Secured Marine Trust, LLC in Branford, Conn. Previously, he held the position of national sales manager at Wachovia Specialized Finance Group. Before that, Thompson was employed at KeyBank as the national retail sales manager for Key Recreation Lending, according to the company.
Thompson holds a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is involved with Marine Retailers Association of America and National Marine Bankers Association.
