Landon appointed Intercoastal Financial Group president

FORT PIERCE, Fla. – Ken Landon has joined marine and RV lender Intercoastal Financial Group, Inc. as president, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Hans Kraaz moves from president to chief executive officer of the company.

“Ken is an executive with both the vision and experience to grow our company, even during a challenging economic climate, and he shares our customers’ passion for boating and the outdoors,” Kraaz said.

Landon has held leadership positions in the marine and RV finance industry for many years, including nearly two decades as president and chief executive officer, and then chairman, of Key Recreation Lending, the marine/RV finance division of KeyBank.

In his new role, Landon will focus on enhancing sales effectiveness, building strategic alliances with industry partners and sales expansion, according to the company.

Landon earned a bachelor’s from Tiffin College. He completed graduate studies at the University of Oklahoma Commercial Lending School and is a Certified Commercial Lender. He has been active in the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the National Marine Bankers Association and the Recreation Vehicle Dealer Association.

In addition to his involvement with industry organizations, Landon serves as chair of the Lake Erie Celebrity Classic Redbone Fishing Tournament benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, is Jeb Bush Florida Classic fishing tournament board member and a World Sailfish Championship board member.
