Unified Marine adds, promotes personnel
NEWPORT, Tenn. – Unified Marine, Inc., the SeaSense marine and trailer accessories manufacturer, has named to people to management positions, the company said in a statement Dec. 10.
Michelle Harris joined Unified Marine as controller. She has an accounting degree from Angelo State University and is completing her MBA with the University of Phoenix. She worked in accounting for seven years as a payroll and banking specialist, staff accountant and controller in various industries. She became a software consultant in 2003, where she specialized in implementing and supporting accounting and business management software.
Karen Knight has been promoted to manager of information systems for Unified Marine. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. Prior to joining Unified, she worked at Ace Products, Inc. as an OEM demand analyst. Her duties included customer service and forecasting. Knight began her tenure with Unified as a sales analyst.
