Textron Financial promotes Adele Suddes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Textron Financial Corporation, a Textron Inc. subsidiary, has promoted Adele Suddes to executive vice president and chief marketing officer, the company said in a statement Tuesday. She will continue to lead the company’s marketing function while also assuming responsibility for its Customer Care Center. Suddes reports to Jay Carter, Textron Financial president, and serves as a member of the company’s executive committee.

“Adele has improved Textron Financial’s overall marketing capability with her relentless focus on driving customer acquisition and retention,” Carter said. “Under her leadership, the marketing function has developed and implemented world-class processes and tools, bringing value to both our customers and our employees.”

Suddes joined Textron Financial in 2000 and has held positions of increasing responsibility focused on providing strategic and tactical marketing support to all of the company’s business divisions. Under her direction, the marketing function has completed the most comprehensive, statistically significant customer satisfaction study in the company’s history. The program was recognized earlier in 2007 with Textron’s first-ever Customer Satisfaction & Loyalty Impact Award. In addition, Textron Financial has shown year-over-year improvement in marketing effectiveness across 20 different functional attributes as benchmarked by the Marketing Leadership Council, a nationally recognized center of excellence for marketing research.

Suddes holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Bryant University. She is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt and has completed Textron’s Executive Leadership Program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
