Four elected to MBIA board
LIVONIA, Mich. – Michigan Boating Industries Association members recently voted in four members to sit on its board of directors, MBIA said in a press release yesterday.
Jim Adams, Freeway Sports Center, Inc. in Fenton; Eric Foster, Belle Maer Harbor, Harrison Township; Tom Haag, Colony Marine, St. Clair Shores; and Kurt Hoffman, Windjammer Marina & Sports Center, Oden, were elected to the state association’s board for three-year terms. Adams, Foster and Haag will be statewide directors; Hoffman will act as northern region director.
John Hatfield, Howe Interlakes Marine, Indian River, was appointed chairman for 2008. Foster was named vice chairman for the year and Patti Smith, Silver Spray Sports, Fenton, was appointed secretary/treasurer for 2008.
