Hatteras Collection gets new president

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Brunswick Corp. has named Keri Theophilus president of its Hatteras Collection, the company said in a press release Wednesday.

He will report to Dustan McCoy, Brunswick chairman and CEO. Theophilus’s appointment follows Mark Harakal’s resignation as head of the collection.

“The Hatteras Collection, with its Hatteras, Cabo and Albemarle brands, is an important element in Brunswick’s marine strategy, and Keri brings a strong suite of skills and experience as its new leader,” McCoy said. “Keri has demonstrated success in leading manufacturing, marketing and selling organizations while working in a global environment, which makes him well suited to continue the growth of the Hatteras
Collection.”

Prior to joining the company as Brunswick Middle East Group president earlier this year, Theophilus was executive vice president of Samsung Petrochemicals, a joint venture between BP and Samsung based in Seoul, Korea. Previously, Theophilus held various positions with BP managing regional businesses in Europe and the United States. Before BP, he held positions of increasing responsibility with E.I. duPont de Nemours & Company, Inc., in sales, marketing and product development. Theophilus has a degree in applied chemistry from Sheffield City Polytechnic.
