Regal Marine’s new hire to focus on dealer acquisition

ORLANDO, Fla. – Regal Marine Industries has added 22-year marine industry sales veteran Richard Breeden to its sales team, it reported in a recent statement.

Breeden will manage Regal’s new dealer recruitment program, launched this year to focus on open market areas.

“Richard has been a high performer in marine sales for over two decades,” said Duffy Stenger, Regal’s vice president of sales and marketing. “He has proven to be a tireless worker, compassionate and fair-minded. His experience with dealer signing, set-up and development will be invaluable to Regal as we aggressively court the best marine dealers in every market.”

Breeden spent the last 18 years at Crownline, building its dealer network from the ground up, according to Regal. Breeden signed a majority of the company’s existing dealer network, raising it to a top five market share position in the sportboat category, the company reported. Before Crowline, Breeden worked for Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) and previous to that, Celebrity Boats in manufacturing.

“I have always admired and respected the Regal brand,” said Breeden. “The Kuck family has set an industry standard for quality, satisfaction and personal attention – three attributes dealers care most about — and I look forward to bringing my experience to their team.”
