OceanGrafix hires national sales exec
ST. PAUL, Minn. – OceanGrafix, which offers print-on-demand nautical charts, has hired Ronnie Babin as national sales executive, where will be responsible for all sales-related activities, the company said in a release this week.
Babin brings 30 years of marketing, sales and sales management experience in the marine industry. He has experience with manufacturers such as Charles Industries and Schottel, Inc.; distributors such as Donovan Marine; and multi-facility retailers like BoatU.S. (now West Marine) and Boater’s World.
“Many recreational boaters suffer from a misconception that paper charts are no longer essential,” explains Dave DeGree, president of OceanGrafix. “Part of Ronnie Babin’s responsibility will be to help boaters understand the vital role paper charts continue to play when it comes to safe navigation.”
