Bronstein chosen as Ft. Lauderdale Boat Club key consultant
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Boat Clubs America has appointed Jim Bronstien as a key consultant for the marina development team of Ft Lauderdale Boat Club, a 12-acre marine and commercial land project located on The New River in the “marina mile” district, Boat Clubs America said in a release yesterday.
Bronstien is the former president and owner of Rybovich in West Palm Beach, Fla., where he transformed the company into the country’s premier boat builder and yacht yard prior to selling it in 2004. Bronstien also served as COO of Broward Marine in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., during that company’s ownership transition, and is consulting with the California-based Bellport Group’s boat yard operation.
“Jim’s extensive knowledge of the industry as well as yacht and boat yard operations will greatly complement our team as we complete our planning and design phase for the Ft Lauderdale Boat Club marina property,” said Ed Ruff, president of Boat Clubs America. “There are a number of mixed-use activities being designed into this site, and Jim’s know-how in the area of yacht service will complement our unique combination of goals for this new marine property (formerly known as Jackson Marine).”
