The Hinckley Company names a new CEO
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – The Hinckley Company’s board of directors has appointed James P. McManus as the yacht manufacturer’s new president and chief executive officer, the company said in a press release yesterday. He will begin July 2.
A native New Englander, McManus graduated from Yale and the Harvard Business School. He has worked in corporate finance with Lehman Brothers and management consulting with McKinsey & Company. While at the Aramark Corporation, he served successively as president of several operating divisions until finally heading Aramark’s largest group, the Business Services Group with $2.3 billion in revenue. He most recently served as president and CEO for the Zoots Corporation, the largest dry cleaning chain in the country, with 78 service sites and 300,000 customers.
