SEATTLE – YachtWorld.com, a division of Dominion Enterprises, has appointed Clement O’Brien as the company’s new business development manager for the state of Florida, it reported in a recent statement.
O’Brien’s new responsibilities include strengthening customer relationships in the South Florida market through professional account management, according to the company. He will work out of an office in North Fort Myers, Fla. and will make regularly scheduled calls on Florida yacht brokerages.
O’Brien joins YachtWorld.com from Walker’s Yacht Sales in Fort Myers, Fla. with previous experience in sales and marketing management positions at Egg Harbor Yacht and the Hatteras boat companies. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University and is also a United States Coast Guard-licensed captain, YachtWorld.com reported.
“Clem has a strong background in yacht sales and marketing and business consulting in the marine industry, as well as an understanding of what brokers experience on a daily basis,” said James Nolan, group general manager, YachtWorld.com. “His experience enables him to provide superior service to our customers in one of the most important regions of the U.S. boating industry by helping brokers utilize YachtWorld.com to increase their sales leads and improve their business.”
Formed in 1995, YachtWorld.com is an online sales channel for yacht brokers that lists more than 100,000 boats for sale in 115 countries by some 2,300 brokers in 60 countries.
