Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
LARGO, Fla. – Island Packet Yachts has expanded its team to include Robert Schaer as a design and manufacturing engineer, the company said in a press release yesterday.
Schaer has 20 years of manufacturing experience, spending the past 10 years in the marine industry in a variety of positions with Boston Whaler. His most recent position was operations manager for Brunswick Commercial and Government Products designing and manufacturing military, law enforcement and fire rescue vessels.
At Island Packet Yachts, Schaer will be responsible for working with Bob Johnson in developing and implementing his new designs, plus a variety of manufacturing, engineering and process development tasks.
