WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Marine Manufacturers Association has hired Natalie Thomas as the new NMMA political action committee manager in its Washington, D.C., government relations office, the organization said in a statement Tuesday.
Thomas previously worked with a large media corporation PAC and with the Carlyle Group. A Boise State University graduate, Thomas has worked in Washington on the legislative staffs of Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho), and former Rep. C.L. “Butch” Otter (R-Idaho), who is currently the governor of Idaho.
“Natalie brings a wealth of experience to our fund-raising operations on behalf of the boating industry to continue to raise our profile before elected officials,” said Monita Fontaine, NMMA vice president and senior counsel of government relations.
Thomas, a Texas native, replaces Nick Tindall, who left in March to join the National Roofing Contractors Association.
