Regal brings Rob May on board

ORLANDO, Fla. – Regal Marine Industries, Inc. has appointed Rob May as its new director of marketing, the company reported in a statement today.

May, a 17-year marine industry marketing, sales and publishing veteran, will be responsible for the planning, development and the execution of all corporate marketing activities.

“Rob is a dynamic and strong leader. He is a tremendous asset to our organization and will be instrumental in continuing to strengthen and build the Regal brand,” stated Duane Kuck, president & CEO of Regal Marine. “He has a unique combination of creativity and aptitude, which our highly competitive market demands.”

Prior to his appointment, May was president of Rise Marketing, a Knoxville, TN-based marine branding consultancy. Previous to Rise, May spent six years as the director of marketing for MasterCraft Boat Company, where he established the brand as a leader in the competitive ski and watersports segment. Before being promoted to director, May was MasterCraft’s Southeast Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for three years, after spending seven years as an editor for World Publications, publishers of Waterski, Wakeboarding, and Boating Life magazines.
