FORLI, Italy – Ferretti Group’s board of directors has named Vincenzo Cannatelli chief executive officer of the group, the company said in a press release Wednesday.
Cannatelli has experience in major Italian industrial groups, with strong international expertise. Previously, he was CEO of KME Group, a copper semi-finished products and alloy copper manufacturer.
Cannatelli began his career at the Stet Group, before joining Elsag in 1987. During the 90’s, he worked in the United States as Elsag Bailey Process Automation CEO until its sale to ABB Group in 1999. Following this he joined Enel Group, where he was first CEO of the Genco companies, then became CEO of Enel Distribuzione, and finally served as COO of the Infrastructures, Networks and Market divisions.
“Vincenzo Cannatelli has consolidated experience and success running major international groups,” said Norberto Ferretti, chairman. “His industry expertise will be beneficial as we will continue growing our brands, both in traditional sector territories such as Europe and the United States, and also in emerging markets.”
The Ferretti Group manufactures luxury motor yachts encompassing the brands Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line and CRN.
