National Liquidators and National Maritime Services name new personnel

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – National Liquidators, a vessel recovery and boat auction company, and sister company National Maritime Services have named three new vice presidents, the companies said in press releases Wednesday and Thursday.

Matthew Amata has been appointed to vice president. Amata will manage and oversee all sales and recovery functions, including the company’s overall business development.

Prior to this position, Amata served as National Liquidator’s director of client development. He has been with the company since 2001.

Michael Bacchiocchi has joined the company as vice president of operations and finance. He will oversee the company’s procedures and finance policies to make improvements for the increased business.

Prior to joining National Liquidators, Bacchiocchi worked as a controller with JES Publishing Corporation in Boca Raton, Fla. JES publishes upscale lifestyle magazines in South Florida and Utah, including Boca Raton magazine, Worth Avenue magazine, Salt Lake magazine and Utah Style & Design.

Mark Brown was named vice president of National Liquidators’ National Maritime Serives and MariTech Services divisions. Brown will run the day-to-day operations of the two companies.

For the past 10 years Brown has worked as operations manager for National Maritime Services. MariTech Services handles boat yard management, marine operations and repairs.
