MIAMI – Building on its rapid worldwide growth, Viking Life-Saving Equipment has appointed a sales and a service director to further support its interests in the U.S. and Latin America, the company said yesterday.
Keld Valentin, who has been with Viking for six years, is the new sales director.
“Keld’s experience with Viking, most recently as sales director in Norway, will serve us well as he oversees our growth and strengthens sales in these two important regions,” said Viking managing director of Americas, Al Osle.
Anthony Varrell, with 26 years in the safety/service industry, most recently with Datrex in Miami, has been named service director.
“Tony, with his knowledge of marine evacuation systems, deck safety equipment and rescue boats, is a perfect fit for our service area expansion,” said Osle.
