Ritchie Navigation names new president
PEMBROKE, Mass. – Ritchie Navigation, a marine compass manufacturer, has promoted Jonathan Sherman to president and CEO, the company said in a press release yesterday.
Sherman was formerly the sales and production coordinator for the brand and will replace Paul Sherman, who stepped down, but will remain the corporation’s treasurer.
Sherman, 32, joined the company in 1998 in sales under the direction of Steve Sprole, vice president of sales and marketing, whom he will continue to work alongside.
“Jon has contributed to numerous product developments and manufacturing initiatives during his time here,” Sprole said. “Together, we’ll ensure a smooth transition and continue the success we’ve achieved under prior management.”
