KMI Sea-Lift names new GM

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Krause Manufacturing has appointed Michael Whitney to general manager, the company said in a statement Tuesday. Current GM Vern Armstrong is retiring.

Whitney came to Krause with more than 12 years of manufacturing experience at CP Manufacturing. He held a number of positions there including assembly, installation, project manager and was most recently plant superintendent for CP’s San Diego location.

One of his goals is to increase name recognition for Sea-Lift, working closely with the sales department to accomplish this, Whitney said. Another goal Whitney has set is to deliver a Sea-Lift machine to a facility on the East Coast to better promote its use.
