Lewmar USA president’s responsibilities expanded
HAVANT, Hants, United Kingdom – Lewmar Ltd., a marine equipment manufacturer, has given Randy Blanton, president of Lewmar USA, Guildford, Conn., additional responsibilities as powerboat market manager, Lewmar Ltd. said in a press release yesterday.
Blanton will be responsible for Lewmar’s anchor, windlass and thruster product lines, in addition to powerboat hatches and portlights. He will remain based at the company’s U.S. headquarters, where he will head new product development worldwide.
Blanton is a 20-year veteran of Lewmar Ltd. Prior to becoming president of Lewmar USA, he held a variety of titles at the company, including vice president of sales, U.S. custom sales manager and regional sales manager. Before joining Lewmar USA he ran a factory-owned dealership for a Canadian yacht builder. Blanton replaces Lawrence Stove who has left the company.
