Mainship appoints operations VP
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Luhrs Marine Group has named Jim Krueger vice president of operations for Mainship Corporation and appointed him to a seat on Mainship’s board of directors, the boatbuilder said in a statement yesterday. Krueger had served for the past eight years as Mainship’s sales and marketing director.
He joined the Luhrs Marine Group in 1995 and started with Luhrs Corporation, adding Mainship responsibilities in 1997 before taking over exclusively as Mainship director of sales and marketing in 1998. Krueger has a degree in industrial and architectural model building and more than 34 years of marine industry experience.
His new job responsibilities encompass managing all aspects of Mainship engineering, production, staffing, sales and marketing.
“My goal is to continue to work with the talented staff that we have here and continue to evolve the Mainship product to meet or exceed customer expectations,” Krueger said.
