Century promotes Rodgers
PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Century Boat Company, Inc. has promoted Richie Rodgers to national sales manager, the company said in a press release Oct. 31.
“Richie has been instrumental in to the ongoing success of our customer service department, making innovative changes in how our company builds and maintains relationships with our Century owners,” said Dean Burnett, Century vice president and general manager. “Richie has great experience and a strong understanding of our product line-up, and he shares our company’s vision for the future of being a leading demand brand.”
In addition to leading the company’s sales efforts, Rodgers will continue to oversee the company’s customer service department.
Prior to joining Century, Rodgers gained experience in the marine industry as sales manager for Outboard Marine Corporation’s Stratos and Javelin brands. Rodgers was promoted to OMC’s product manager, and eventually customer service manager during the company’s transition to new owner Genmar Corporation. From 2002 to 2004, Rodgers was sales manager and was promoted to brand manager for Champion Boats, a division of Stratos Boats, Inc.
