Walker Bay Boats hires new sales manager

YAKIMA, Wash. – Walker Bay Boat Inc. has appointed Jeffrey Going as eastern area sales manager, the company said in a press release Friday. He will be responsible for growing sales through both dealer and distributor networks.

“Jeff will bring a great depth of knowledge and experience to Walker Bay having worked for Zodiac for 17 years in North America,” said Paul Roberts, Walker Bay vice president of sales and marketing. “Our goal is to have the best team within our market sector to support our customers and with people like Jeff we will make this happen.”

In addition to growing the Genesis dealer network, Going will expand the Original line through distributor programs.

Going has held various positions in the marine industry for 26 years, his most recent with Defender Industries and Zodiac. He is chairman of the Essex Harbor Management Commission, co-chair of the Connecticut River Harbor Management Dock Committee, Long Island Sound Advisory Council member and past commodore for Essex Corinthian and Pettipaug yacht clubs.
