Halgren leaves Flagship for Aqua Marine Partners

AVENTURA, Fla. – Larry Halgren has resigned as director of expansion planning and construction for Flagship Marinas and has been appointed to the newly titled position of vice president of acquisitions for Aqua Marine Partners (AMP), the company reported in a recent statement.

“Larry is a visionary leader with a wealth of knowledge and experience gathered over an impressive 35 year career in the marine industry” said Andrew Sturner, CEO of Aqua Marine Partners, LLC, in announcing the appointment.

Halgren will be focused on acquiring operating marina properties for AMP, as well as, identifying development sites that would be good prospects to add to AMP’s portfolio of Vertical Yacht Clubs.

Some of his other responsibilities include all aspects of marketing and business development. In addition, Halgren will serve as an ambassador for Vertical Yacht Club Development, maintaining an active role in industry associations and attending events and trade shows. He is a past-president/chairman of the International Marina Institute and a speaker and author on marina topics.

Halgren has built his career from the ground up, starting as a salesman and rising to the co-presidency of Bellingham Marine Industries, Inc., which manufactures marina storage and dockage systems.
