New GM named at Kop-Coat
ROCKAWAY, N.J. – Kop-Coat Marine Group, has promoted John Ludgate to general manager, the company said in a press release Wednesday.
Kop-Coat’s brands include Pettit Paints, Woolsey, Z*Spar and SuperNavi Paints. Ludgate will be responsible for overseeing all sales, marketing and production for Kop-Coat’s factories in Rockaway, N.J., and Vernon, Calif.
Ludgate was Kop-Coat vice president of sales and marketing for the past 6 years. Before joining Kop-Coat, he spent 16 years with Interlux Yacht Finishes in sales and marketing positions.
“I look forward to the new opportunities I can help Kop-Coat create in the marine and industrial markets,” Ludgate said. “We have an excellent team in place and will continue to grow.”
He replaces Cam Metz, who retired after ten years with Kop-Coat and was with the Koppers Company for a total of 25 years.
