MasterCraft hands out promotions

VONORE, Tenn. – Boat builder MasterCraft has promoted five employees who, it said, “had a significant hand” in “tremendous growth over the last few years with double digit revenue growth and aggressive new model introductions.”

On the operations side, Ritchie Anderson has been promoted from plant manager to senior manufacturing manager, the boat builder said in a recent statement. This recognition affirms Anderson has exceeded expectations by taking strong leadership roles safety, quality, productivity, cost management and lean manufacturing, according to MasterCraft.

John Fausch has become vice president of operations after only 8 months as director of operations. The boat builder said Fausch has quickly raised the bar at MasterCraft by introducing new and improving current best practices resulting in superior consumer and dealer satisfaction.

Scott Wood, formerly the director of engineering, is now vice president of new product development and engineering. After only 18 months with the company, Wood has reduced the product development cycle, implemented value-engineering to control escalating raw-material costs and been responsible for an aggressive product plan that includes innovative products for the ProStar, MariStar, Saltwater and X-Series, according to MasterCraft.

In sales, Parker Stair has been promoted from national sales manager to director of sales. Stair has been responsible for implementing in-depth dealer training, dealer incentive programs to increase customer satisfaction, IT solutions for ordering and warranty claims as well as growing the dealer network to meet increased sales and service demands, the company said.

In addition, Scott Crutchfield, formerly the VP of global sales, has been promoted to senior VP of global sales. Crutchfield, who is involved in the global strategy and product development of the company, has been a chief contributor to the record growth of MasterCraft over the last 5 years, the company reported.
