AMESBURY, Mass. - Three key upper-level managers and a publication editor have been added at Maptech to help direct and facilitate the company's projected growth and expansion into new markets, said Tom Coppa, vice president, in a press release Wednesday.
Jeff McWeeney will be the new director of sales. He brings 8 years at Raytheon Marine Company/Raymarine Inc. to Maptech. Most recently, McWeeney headed his own sales company representing a variety of marine manufacturers.
Craig Cushman has been chosen as the director of marketing. He previously held marketing roles at Garmin International and Raytheon Marine. Cushman's focus will be to create and promote a consistent marketing message for the Maptech brand and its wide range of products in the marine industry, as well as the mapping software for land navigation.
Sandy Rikkers will fill the newly created director of finance & operations position. Her main focus will be to expand the back-office infrastructure to support sales growth.
Kate Yeomans will be Maptech's associate editor. A non-fiction author with published works in national and regional journals, Yeomans will steer the company's Embassy Cruising Guides.
