ORLANDO – Correct Craft, Inc. has appointed Bill Yeargin as president and chief executive officer of the privately held Orlando-based company effective Sept. 14. Yeargin succeeds former president and CEO Terry McNew who left the company in June to assume a position with Sea Ray Boats.
Yeargin’s professional experience includes a 20-year career with yacht manufacturer and service company Rybovich in West Palm Beach, Fla. He has held various senior management positions within the organization including his most recent role as executive vice president.
Yeargin has written two books, one of which, Yeargin on Management, is in its fourth edition. He also is a popular lecturer on the topics of leadership and management.
“I am excited about the opportunity to join the team at Correct Craft,” Yeargin said. “Its culture and ethics are consistent with mine. I look forward to providing the leadership necessary to ensure its continued success.”
“Bill demonstrates strong leadership qualities that complement and enhance the great management team in place at Correct Craft,” said Correct Craft Chairman Ken Meloon. “The entire Board of Directors endorses Bill as president and CEO and we are confident about the future of the company under his leadership.”
Prior to his career with Rybovich, Yeargin worked for the international accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree and is a Certified Public Accountant. Executive search firm Lovett and Lovett of Dayton, Ohio, assisted in the selection process.
