Cabo Yachts hires international sales manager
ADELANTO, Calif. – Cabo Yachts, a unit of Brunswick’s Hatteras Collection, has hired Philip C. Stoegerer, 35, as international sales manager, Brunswick reported in a recent statement. Stoegerer will report to Gregory R. Bourque, vice president – sales and marketing.
In his new role, Stoegerer will help further develop Cabo’s international presence, according to the company. His first international assignment will be the Sydney International Boat show in Australia, August 3-8.
“Phil’s proven track record in both retail and manufacturing sales will serve him well as he aims to further develop Cabo’s mutually beneficial relationship with its valued dealers worldwide,” said Bourque. “He is a marine industry veteran with more than 15 years of experience.”
This news comes a few months after Steve Boerema, who served in a similar capacity, left Cabo Yachts for Viking Yacht Co., where he is leading the boat builder’s new international sales division and serving as the West Coast sales manager, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
Stoegerer first started his career in retail yacht sales then joined the sales team of Donzi Marine, Sarasota, Fla. Most recently with the Carver Yacht Group, Pulaski, Wis., Phil served as northeast regional sales manager and international sales manager for the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Stoegerer holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Mich.
