Personnel changes at Unified Marine

NEWPORT, Tenn. – Unified Marine has put the final pieces in place to complete its “Team SeaSense,” the company said in a statement issued July 6. Dan Sweeney has been named Unified’s national sales manager. Bill Hess has taken the vice president position at the SeaSense marine and trailer accessories manufacturer.

Hess came to Unified with 36 years of experience in the marine industry. He had previously been the company’s national sales manager.

Taking Hess’s previous post, Sweeney joined Unified Marine in 1999 with 10 years of management experience in a large retail setting. During his tenure with Unified Marine he has grown from an outside sales representative and merchandiser through customer service and into administrative rolls. He most recently served the company as a sales analyst and has worked closely with customers to provide product programs to fit their needs.

The completed “Team SeaSense” consists of David Nirenberg, Unified’s founder and CEO; Marc Emmi, president; Hess and Sweeney. Combined, the four team members have more than 100 years of experience serving the marine industry.
