Alumacraft names new executive VP

ST. PETER, Minn. – Aluminum fishing boat manufacturer Alumacraft Boat Co. has promoted James Irwin to executive vice president, the company said in a press release Friday.

Working from Alumacraft’s main offices in St. Peter, Irwin will be responsible for the company’s non-sales related operations, including manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, finance and administration, human resources and customer service/warranty for the St. Peter operations and the production facility in Arkadelphia, Ark.

A Mankato, Minn., native, Irwin began his career with Alumacraft in 1995 as an accountant and computer administrator. Promoted to assistant controller in 1996, he became controller in 1998 and vice president of finance and administration in 2004.
